A car-free resort centre, lift links between the different levels of the resort, free shuttles… Flaine has a very special way of organising itself. The creators of this ski and mountain sports resort opted for functionality and practicality.
For your comfort and safety, the centre of Flaine is reserved for pedestrians.
Car parks are available at the entrance to each level of the resort: P1 (Flaine Front de Neige), P2 (Flaine Forum), P3 (Flaine Forêt).
In winter, car parks are subject to a charge:
There is a free car park at the Col de Pierre Carrée, accessible by free shuttle bus.
In summer, all outdoor car parks are free.
In winter and summer, when you arrive or leave, you can use the resort free of charge to load or unload your vehicle for a period of 1.5 hours or between 7pm and 3.5 hours (for all tickets taken after 7pm – cannot be combined with the 1.5 hours free of charge).
GIG – GIC parking, go to the Welcome Office in winter, for a free ticket, and in summer, contact the Syndicat Intercommunal de Flaine.
Winter and summer: free intra-station shuttles run all day between Flaine Forêt, the Hameau de Flaine and the Col de Pierre Carrée.
In summer: free inter-station shuttles run between Les Carroz and Flaine. The shuttles serve several bus stops, providing starting points for a wide range of hikes.
Two inclined lifts link Flaine Forêt to Flaine Forum, accessible free of charge 24/7 during the winter and summer seasons.
Following the creation of the Observatoire Environnemental de Flaine, Flaine is pursuing its environmental commitment to a more sustainable resort with the installation of 2 electric car charging points at the entrance to Flaine Forum (free parking for the duration of the charge) and 2 charging points inside the P3 car park at Flaine Forêt.
These charging points on SYANE’s public network will be open with no access restrictions. Any user will be able to access them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless of the type of electric vehicle used.
