Enjoy the unspoilt natural setting of Lac Vernant, renowned for its picturesque beauty and panoramic views of the Pointe Percée. The sunny picnic area will delight young and old alike for a snack break during a hike.

Outside the summer season, the installation of tables will depend on the snow conditions.

How to find us

The picnic area is at Lac de Vernant. To get there, please park in the Vernant car park - about 10 minutes from Flaine. From the car park it is a 30 minute walk to the site.

If you don't want to take your car, you can take a free shuttle bus from Flaine and get off at the ‘Vernant’ stop (during the summer season only).

Some of our hikes can be done from here: the Grands Vans circuit (N°5) and the Pré des Saix circuit (N°9).
