A qualified ski instructor with handiski qualifications will take you on a tandem ski tour of the Flaine and Grand-Massif ski areas.
Most of the ski lifts in Flaine have been adapted to allow tandem skiers access, and the chair’s mechanical system means you can take the chairlifts in complete safety. So almost the whole of the Flaine ski area is accessible!
What is tandem skiing? The Tandem Ski is a mobile wheelchair specially adapted for use on the slopes. It accommodates a passenger and a driver so you can ski in complete safety. The Tandem Ski has a mechanical system that enables it to make turns even on steep slopes, and remains stable and manoeuvrable, even at high speeds.
Who’s it for? The Tandem Ski is the ideal way for disabled people and those with limited motor autonomy to discover snow sports.
