Getting to Flaine

Its proximity to Geneva airport, Cluses and Geneva TGV train stations, and the A40 motorway make this ski and mountain sports resort the perfect place for you winter or summer sports holiday.

For buses, trains, taxis and passenger transport: early booking is strongly recommended.

By road

Follow the A40 motorway towards Geneva/Chamonix, and come off at exit n° 19: Cluses Centre. Flaine is signposted from here: take the second exit at the roundabout onto the N205 (towards Sallanches) for 2 km, then take the first on your left at the roundabout (D106 towards Flaine/Les Carroz). When you get to this point, you’re only 30-40 minutes from Flaine.

How to park in the resort?

By train ｜Cluses train station

The nearest TGV stations to Flaine are Cluses, 30km away, and Geneva, 70km away. From Cluses station, regular bus services provide easy access to the resort. If you prefer more direct, personalised transport, there are taxis and personal transport services available from all stations.

Individual transfer: taxi and individual and group transport.

Collective transfer: take an Altibus bus between Cluses “gare routière” and Flaine – booking.

By air ｜Geneva airport

The resort is easily accessible from all over France and Europe from Geneva airport at 70 km.

Individual transfer: taxi and individual and group transport.

Collective transfer (train & bus)
1. Take a train to Geneva Cornavin train station – booking.
2. Take a Léman Express train to reach Cluses station – booking.
3. Take an Altibus bus between Cluses “gare routière” and Flaine – booking.

Collective transfer in winter only (bus) :
1. Take an Eurobus from the airport, the bus will then drop you off at Flaine Forum – booking.
2. To get to your accommodation, you can take the resort’s free shuttle bus.
